Call me naïve, but $42 billion is A LOT!
I read the other day that a study conducted in the US has it that if the ban on online gambling be lifted, for online poker alone, it would mean $42 billion in revenue over ten years. The math is simple and the equation looks like this: Legalizing Online Gambling = $42 Billion for US.
And so we have to say it, and say it loud, and say it repeatedly, and say it to our representatives, and say it not only if we live in the US and the ban affects us (it actually doesn’t) but say it anywhere and at all times. People, what if we focus on keeping online gambling legit, fair, safe and open, and then we can all benefit from it. And what – oh my – what if the US would also repeal the ban on online casinos too?!
True, there is plenty of cash to be made and spent lobbying from land based casinos too. This is probably more immediate and familiar to politicians in Washington and the rest of the world too.
Surely politicians can find a way to have this money work out for them too. And since there is so much money involved, they might as well. Legalize casino games and benefit from it. We all will, as we win a global, regulated, fair and fun online gambling industry.
